I ought to be sewing. I have eleven aprons cut out, tunes roaring and have just sated my appetite for the world's best tea biscuits. (Rick's sister Peggy just last night shared her secret recipe for these TASTY biscuits and after having fed us a yummy dinner complete with bickies and homemade pecan pie, sent us home with a whole bag of these heavenly treasures. And me on a diet. Damn that Peggy anyway).
One apron and two tea towels down ... surfing whilst my biscuits are washed down with some used-to-be-hot tea, reading the recent Facebook additions. Thought I might share some other-worldly thoughts on my blog but have come to the conclusion that butter and flour doth make a dull Chris. Still, there must something worthwhile taking the time to write a little....but what?
Hmmm, a distant cuz from the land of tea and biscuits has shared a blog about a closing record store in Toronto. By the Geez, I know this store. Makes me nostalgic for Sam the Record Man on Yonge Street... wandering in the aisles with Dad looking for my own personal soundtrack. First 45... Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (Mum is still scratching her head). Still sounds about right on my epic biopic.
Must download it from iTunes... and finish the aprons.
Later friends.
